Forger Formation
The Reject
The Defiant Force. Built himself hard in response to what he watched go wrong. Strength as protest; every soft thing felt like a liability.
What The Reject is
You watched softness fail and chose hardness instead. That's a specific wound: the decision still lives in you. You had just enough exposure to the other side of yourself to make a conscious choice to seal it off, and that choice hardened into identity. Your drive is real, but it was built against something. Growth isn't about becoming soft; it's about choosing your own strength rather than being run by what you refused to be.
One of seven Forger formations. The app calls it a Landmark.
Where it sits on the wheel
Natural Strength: High ยท Other Side Softness: Trace
Here is how The Reject typically scores across the ten spokes. The peaks are Agency at 8 and Structure at 7; the troughs are Connection at 2 and Nurturance at 2. Averaged out, strength comes to 6.8 and softness to 2.2. With only 4.6 points between the sides, this Forger formation reads as balanced instead of lopsided.
Day to day
You're drawn to the opposite of whatever you watched fail. That gives you a sharp sense of what you refuse to become and a restless energy that needs a cause. You work hard, argue well and spot weakness quickly, in systems and sometimes in people.
Under stress
Under stress you dig in against the nearest authority or expectation. Being told what to do, even kindly, can feel like the old threat returning, and you respond with more force than the moment calls for.
In relationships
You test loyalty before you give it. Softness in a partner can read as the thing that once let you down, so you may push on it until it either holds or breaks. Underneath is someone who wants to be certain he won't be abandoned again.

What it needs next
Your growth is turning protest into choice. Ask what you actually want to build, not only what you're against. Then let someone who has proven reliable see the part of you that hasn't had to fight.
